Additional Information
For Leishmaniasis in Dogs: Administer 10 mg/kg q12h PO for at least 4 months and as long as 6 months. Some clinicians use 15 mg/kg q12h initially, then reduce to 7-10 mg/kg q12-24h PO if there is a response.
For Urate Urolith Prevention in Dogs: Start with 10 mg/kg q8h PO, then reduce to 10 mg/kg q24h PO.
