Deferoxamine Mesylate Dosing for Iron Chelation
Important Safety Information
Deferoxamine is used for chelation of iron in cases of iron toxicity or overdose.
Treatment is generally continued for 24 hours. Monitor for potential side effects including hypotension, allergic reactions, and visual/hearing disturbances.
