Epinephrine Dosing for Emergency Situations
Important Safety Information
Maximum dose in dogs: 0.3 mg total for dogs less than 40 kg, and 0.5 mg total for dogs greater than 40 kg body weight.
During emergency use, the dose may be repeated every 5-15 minutes as needed.
Use with extreme caution in cats and animals with cardiovascular disease.
1 mg/mL (1:1000) solution is most often used for large animals.
