Epoetin Alfa Dosing for Dogs and Cats By Weight
Important Safety Information
For dogs: Do not exceed 400 units/kg/week. Adjust dose to maintain hematocrit of 30%-34%.
For cats: Start with 100 units/kg SQ three times weekly; reduce frequency as target hematocrit of 30%-40% is attained.
Monitor hematocrit regularly and adjust dosage accordingly.
