Famotidine Dosing for Dogs, Cats, Horses By Weight
Important Safety Information
For dogs: A dose of 40mg/dog q12h has been used empirically. Doses as high as 0.5-1 mg/kg have been administered, but there is no evidence that higher doses will improve efficacy.
For cats: IV administration should be done slowly over 5 minutes.
