Fluticasone Propionate Dosing for Dogs, Cats, Horses By Weight
Important Safety Information
For dogs: Start with 220 mcg per dose q12h. As patient is stabilized, decrease dose gradually to 110 mcg per dose, and lower if possible.
For cats: Start with 44 mcg per dose (one puff from a 44-mcg inhaler) twice daily. Increase the dose as needed to 110 mcg, then to 220 mcg.
For horses: 1-2 mg per horse (6-12 puffs from 220-mcg inhaler) twice daily for airway disease.
