Hydrocodone Bitartrate Dosing for Dogs and Cats By Weight
Important Safety Information
For antitussive use in dogs: Do not exceed 1.5 mg/kg. Increase dose if needed for tracheal collapse but stay within recommended limits.
For cats: No established dose. Use with extreme caution as many formulations contain acetaminophen which is toxic to cats.
Monitor for sedation, respiratory depression, and gastrointestinal effects.
