Itraconazole Dosing for Dogs, Cats, Horses By Weight
Important Safety Information
For refractory cases in dogs, use 10 mg/kg q12h PO to increase blood concentrations.
In horses, capsules are absorbed poorly and inconsistently. Use the oral solution (Sporanox) for optimum oral absorption.
For dermatophyte treatment in cats, some cases may need additional 15-day courses of therapy.
