Minocycline Hydrochloride Dosing for dogs, Cats, Horses By Weight
Important Safety Information
For dogs: 5 mg/kg q12h PO will be sufficient in most dogs. If IV administration is used, reduce dose by one-half compared to the oral dose.
For cats: 8.8 mg/kg (or 50 mg per cat) PO once daily.
For horses: 4 mg/kg q12h PO, or 2.2 mg/kg q12h IV.
