Pantoprazole Dosing for Dogs, Cats, Horses, Cattle, Pigs By Weight

Important Administration Information

For 2-minute IV infusion: First flush IV line. Mix 40 mg of powder with 10 mL of sodium chloride 0.9% injection for a final concentration of 4 mg/mL. Infuse 1-mg/kg dose over 2 minutes.

For 15-minute IV infusion: Mix 40-mg vial with 10 mL sodium chloride 0.9% injection. Then further admix this solution with 100 mL of dextrose 5% injection, sodium chloride 0.9% injection, or Ringer's lactate injection to a total volume of 110 mL, producing a solution with a final concentration of approximately 0.4 mg/mL. Administer final dose (1 mg/kg) over 15 minutes.
