Pyrimethamine and Sulfadiazine Dosing for Dogs, Cats, Horses By Weight
Important Information
For EPM caused by S. neurona in horses: 1 mg/kg pyrimethamine, 20 mg/kg sulfadiazine once daily PO (4 mL per 110 pounds).
For dogs and cats: Equivalent to one-third milliliter (0.33 mL) of the equine formulation per 4 kg of body weight.
