Spironolactone Dosing for Dogs and Cats By Weight
Important Safety Information
In dogs, start with 2 mg/kg/day and increase gradually, not to exceed 4 mg/kg/day.
Use in cats is controversial because it may produce dermatitis and because the efficacy is questionable.
No dose has been reported for large animals.
