Warfarin Sodium Dosing for Dogs, Cats, Horses By Weight
Important Safety Information
For cats: Start with 0.25-0.5 mg/cat/day and adjust dose based on bleeding time assessment.
For horses: 0.02 mg/kg q24h PO (9 mg per 450 kg of body weight [1000 pounds]). Increase gradually by 20% increments.
Use with caution and monitor bleeding time regularly. Allow 7 days between dose changes for horses.
